IT ALL STARTED ON A NAPKIN
Several years ago I found myself growing increasingly more frustrated with what was happening in our Country. Every day (and every day since) the media spewed their leftist agenda highlighting a biased and false narrative of racial and sexual inequality, oppression, and intolerance while at the same time denouncing anything and anyone who aligned themselves with traditional American values and the idea of American exceptionalism which they preached were insulting and offensive.
Like most Americans, I felt powerless to do anything about what was happening. All I kept hearing was, âwe just need to pray about itâ and âwe just need to make our voices heard at the pollsâ. But for me, that wasnât enough. I knew the real problem was that mediocrity was running rampant and most Americans were losing patience with trying to make sense of what was happening. They were buying into the ideology that they were being force fed on TV and social media because it was easier than trying to figure out a way to fight it.
It was on a Southwest flight from Denver to Tampa that I got the idea for Defiant American Apparel Company. I didnât hear angels singing, or get tunnel vision, or hear a strange voice in my head whispering âIf you build it they will comeâ. But I knew, without a doubt, that this idea of mine was something that this Country needed.
The idea was simpleâŠto create an apparel company that did two things:
1. Unite ALL Americans (regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual preference, etc) in a common mission of standing together in defiance to a leftist ideology and âwokeâ agenda which threatens the American way of life and the freedoms our Constitution guarantees each and every one of us.
2. Encourage and motivate people to just be better humansâŠbetter Americans. To take personal responsibility for themselves, to help their neighbors, to smile, to say please and thank you, to stand up for one another and for whatâs right, and to remember that by bettering ourselves we can in turn become a better Country. United. Strong. Defiant to anything or anyone that threatens what it means to be an American.
So I took my drink napkin on that flight, and quickly wrote down my thoughts. It wasnât much, but it was a start. As fate would have it, life got in the way and it wasnât until recently that I found myself at a point where I finally had the opportunity to turn my idea for Defiant American Apparel Company into a reality. Fast forward to today and Defiant American Apparel Company is one of the fastest growing apparel brands in the Country. Weâre proud of the mission weâve started, and want to thank each and every one of our customers for their support. Together weâre making a difference for generations to come, ensuring that the American way of life will never die!
Be defiant.
